Learning Objectives for Nasal Spray for SARS-COV-2 Virus Reduction

A few nasal sprays have shown efficacy in reducing viruses in the nasal epithelium. This session will review a nitric oxide-based nasal spray given authorization for SARS-COV-2 reduction in Israel and New Zealand.

 

Learning Objectives

  1. Viral load reduction percentages achieved with the nitrico oxide based nasal spray.
  2. Mechanism of action.
  3. When to use this nasal spray? For example, in a doctor's clinic.
  4. Results of the trial conducted for reducing SARS-COV-2 load in the nasopharyngeal area.
  5. In-vitro study using NO based nasal spray by the Utah State University.
