When you talk about fat disrupting insulin pathway, are you talking about fat across the board? Not all fats are created equal.

In this talk Dr. Mobeen discusses:

1. Why do fats contribute to the insulin insensitivity?

2. Why does eating carb cause hunger again?

In this discussion, we are going to cover the following topics:

  • Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
  • Various macro classes of food, that are proteins, fat, and carbohydrates.
  • Effect of the different classes of food on the status of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
  • How do fats cause insulin resistance
  • The mechanism of the release of insulin in response to food intake.
