In 2021 about 56 million US adults experienced chronic pains. 17 million experienced high-impact chronic pains. The pandemic has contributed to significant new cases. This is the second part of the series to understand what pain is-- the anatomy, physiology, pathology, and management aspects will be covered in this mini-series on pain. Today we will discuss the fundamentals of muscle pain.
