Nevermind, I misunderstood. cGMP is the second messenger that causes degranulation. cAMP blocks the Ca2+ channels pathways and stabilizies the mast cell.

My mistake.

Here you say that the confirmational change brought by the two IgEs would cause increased production of cGMP. However, during your lecture on hypersensitivity type 1, (@33:55) you mention that the increased production of cAMP is what causes the granules to preprare for degranulation. I am wondering which one is really at play here.
