How can a macrophage phagocytose an intracellular pathogen? Based on the lecture, the doctor mentions that IL 12 released from the macrophage will activate the T Helper cell to become T Helper 1 cell, which helps in association with Cytotoxic T cells to kill intracellular pathogen.
