Bloody diarrhea -> most common bacterial pathogens -> Escherichia coli, Shigella, and Campylobacter.

Bacillus Cereus -> Diahrrhea, cramps (eating reheated starchy foods, rice, pasta, etc.) Staphylococcus Aureus -> Vomiting, abdominal pain. Diarrhea may occur. Clostridium Difficile -> Associated with antibiotics use. Watery diarrhea. Bloody stools unusual. Clostridium Perfringens -> Associated with undercooked or unrefrigerated food. Brief illness with watery diarrhea, cramps, and fever. Salmonella -> Associated with pultry and eggs. Watery diarrhea, fever, pain, vomiting. Vibrio Vulnificus -> May cause invasive life threatening disease in immucocompromised patients. vomiting, diarrhea, pain. Escherichia Coli -> Associated with undercooked beef or contamiation with bovine feces. Watery diarrhea (may be bloody - shiga toxin.) Shigella -> Associated with contaminted food or water, especially when traveling outside of the US. Blood diarrhea with fever. Campylobacter species -> Associated with raw or undercooked meats. Children and young adults. Pain and bloody diarrhea.
